Gas prices in and around Bellaire were higher compared to the averages for Texas, Houston, and the country as a whole this week, according to data from the price-tracking website Gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the Gasbuddy.com website reported rates for four gas stations in and around Bellaire. As of April 27, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Bellaire is $3.850 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.709, Houston average at $3.785, and the nationwide average at $3.818.

The average gas price in Bellaire last week was $3.870 per gallon.

The least expensive gas price in Bellaire is reported to be $3.83 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which a Gasbuddy.com contributor logged as being available at Valero, 4439 Bissonnet St. and Newcastle Street.

A Gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.87, which was being sold at Shell, 5910 West Loop South and Fournace Place.
