Lamar's Bram Kohlhausen has strong spring game
Lamar high school graduate Bram Kohlhausen, a red-shirt freshman quarterback, played well as the Houston Red squad earned a 42-28 victory in the annual Red & White Game hosted for the final time at Robertson Stadium on Friday.
Kohlhausen, who split time on both teams, combined to complete 21-of-33 passes for 270 yards and two scores. He did toss a pair of interceptions however.
Kohlhausen earned First-Team All-District in 2009 and 2010 and Second-Team as a sophomore in 2008.
He was named Lamar High School's Most Valuable Player as a junior and senior.
Kohlhausen was 61-of-129 for 1,047 yards, while throwing 14 touchdowns as a senior. He chose Houston over Virginia and Utah.
Bram was born Aug. 7, 1992, and is the son of Donna and Bill Kohlhausen.
