Board-certified cardiologist joins Memorial Hermann Medical Group

Memorial Hermann Medical Group, on the campus of the Texas Medical Center, announced that board-certified cardiologist Akira Nishikawa, M.D., has joined its staff.

According to a press release, Nishikawa's academic appointments include clinical professor of medicine and cardiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School, and medical director of the Coronary and Cardiac Intermediate Care units of the Heart and Vascular Institute at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center.  

Nishikawa's specialties are cardiology and interventional cardiology.
