Gas prices in and around Bellaire this week were lower compared to the average for the country as a whole, according to data from Gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the Gasbuddy.com website reported rates for two gas stations in and around Bellaire. As of March 31, Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.829, the Houston average at $3.862 and the nationwide average at $3.895.

The average gas price in Bellaire last week was $3.833 per gallon.

The least expensive gas price in Bellaire is reported to be $3.85 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which a Gasbuddy.com contributor logged as being available at Valero, 4439 Bissonnet St. and Newcastle Street.

A Gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.89, which was being sold at Shell, 5910 West Loop South and Fournace Place.
