City names incoming human resources director
The city of Bellaire announced the appointment of Yolanda Williams to the position of director of human resources, beginning April 2.
Williams, who was selected by Bellaire City Manager Bernie Satterwhite, fills the open position following the retirement of former director Roberta Murray.
A University City, Mo., native, Williams holds bachelor's degrees in organizational leadership and psychology from Maryville University in St. Louis; a master's degree in public administration and policy analysis from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Ill.; and designation as an HR Certified Professional by the International Public Management Association. In addition, Williams brings more than 16 years of professional experience to her new role.
