Memorial company sued over Bellaire commercial lease agreement

A landlord is suing a tenant over claims it breached a lease agreement for commercial space in Bellaire.

Tagaropulos Family Partnership filed a lawsuit on March 8 in Harris County District Court against RSL 1818 Management, of Memorial, and Ronet Levy, citing breach of contract and fraud.

Tagaropulos Family Partnership says on July 22, 2008, it agreed to lease commercial space, located at 5410 Bellaire Plaza, to the defendants until Feb. 28, 2014. According to the brief, the defendants violated their agreement by failing to pay rent and abandoning the premises in October 2011.

The landlord is seeking damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Barker attorney Keith L. Woods.
