HS Football Preview: Bellaire vs. Brazoswood

Bellaire visits Brazoswood in high school football action Saturday.

The Cardinals went 6-5 overall last season and 6-1 in district play.

Head Coach Trey Herrmann has an awesome defense in place and many think Bellaire is in the mix to take District 20-5A.

After playing Brazoswood, Bellaire will host Hastings next Friday at 7 p.m in Butler Stadium.

The Brazoswood Buccaneers went 4-6 overall last year and 2-5 in district action.

Head Coach Dean DeAtley has 12 starters returning, including defensive standouts Julian King and Trey Vavra, both defensive backs.

Following the Bellaire battle, Brazoswood will host Angleton next Friday at 7 p.m.

The Cardinals and Buccaneers are set to kick off Saturday at 7 p.m. in Hopper Stadium.
