Gas prices at Bellaire's stations more or less average

Gas prices in Bellaire are about the same as in the rest of the Houston area this week, with less than a penny's difference in the two averages.

Price-tracking website gasbuddy.com lists four stations within Bellaire city limits. Their average price is $3.388 for regular unleaded gasoline. The Houston metropolitan area's average is $3.386.

Bellaire's price is still lower than the averages for Texas ($3.393) and the United States ($3.485).

The cheapest gas in the city is available at the Shell station at 5910 W. Loop S. The price there was reported as $3.35.

The Chevron station at 5020 Bellaire Blvd. had the most expensive gas at $3.45, according to gasbuddy.com.
