Pro Baseball: Brian David Friday, Indianapolis Indians

Brian David Friday went 1 for 2, scored a run and was walked twice in the Indianapolis Indians's 6-5 loss at the Pawtucket Redsocks on Thursday. Friday graduated from Bellaire Episcopal High School.

A 2004 graduate of Bellaire Episcopal, Friday accepted a baseball scholarship at Rice University. He played three seasons (2005 to 2007) for the Owls ending his college career with a .327 batting average, 55 doubles, 40 stolen bases and 98 RBIs. Friday was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the third round (98th overall) of the 2007 Major League Baseball draft. He quickly advanced through the Pirates' system making it to Triple-A Indianapolis of the International League early in the 2010 season, his second full year of professional baseball. Montgomery County District Court criminal felony indictments, June 7

The Montgomery County district clerk reported the following criminal felony indictments Thursday, June 7:

Michael Lavell Shepherd was indicted in the 435th District Court on a charge of tampering with governmental record.

Shepherd is 23 years old, and resides in the 7409 Parker Road, Houston.

The alleged offense reportedly occurred Sunday, March 11. Shepherd was arrested that same day.

David P. Ward is Shepherd's attorney.



Linda Gonzales Casillas was indicted in the 284th District Court on a charge of theft.

Casillas is 48 years old, and resides in the 4809 Siegell, Houston.

The alleged offense reportedly occurred Saturday, April 7. Casillas was arrested that same day.

Stephen D. Jackson is Casillas' attorney.



Jarvis Tremaine Bundage was indicted in the 221st District Court on a charge of .

Bundage is 27 years old, and resides in the 6166 Beldart, Houston.

The alleged offense reportedly occurred Friday, April 20. Bundage was arrested that same day.



Odis Charles Oliver was indicted in the 221st District Court on a charge of .

Oliver is 30 years old, and resides in the 4403 Kleinway Drive, Houston.

The alleged offense reportedly occurred Friday, March 30. Oliver was arrested that same day.
