Pro Baseball: Brian David Friday, Indianapolis Indians

Brian David Friday went 1 for 3 in the Indianapolis Indians's 2-1 loss at the Charlotte Knights on Thursday. Friday graduated from Bellaire Episcopal High School.

A 2004 graduate of Bellaire Episcopal, Friday accepted a baseball scholarship at Rice University. He played three seasons (2005 to 2007) for the Owls ending his college career with a .327 batting average, 55 doubles, 40 stolen bases and 98 RBIs. Friday was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the third round (98th overall) of the 2007 Major League Baseball draft. He quickly advanced through the Pirates' system making it to Triple-A Indianapolis of the International League early in the 2010 season, his second full year of professional baseball. At 12:35 p.m., an incident involving theft was reported in the in the 11200 block of Fondren Road.

An incident involving aggravated assault was reported at 4:56 p.m. in the in the 10900 block of Fondren Road.

An incident involving auto theft was reported at 7 p.m. in the in the 8900 block of Braesmont Drive.

At 10:30 p.m., a burglary was reported in the in the 5400 block of Jason.

Montgomery County misdemeanors, June 17-23

The Montgomery County Clerk reported the following criminal misdemeanor records during the week of June 17-23:

Dashaunda Michelle Ellis, 27, was charged with assault causing bodily injury and property theft (greater than $50, less than $500) on June 21.

Ellis was arrested on June 18 by Officer C Santoro of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. Police reported one victim.

Ellis is described as a 5-foot-4, 145-pound Black female with black hair and brown eyes. She was born on May 22, 1985, in MONROE, Louisiana. Her last known address is 12218 Sarti St., Houston.

Final order for Romeo A. Martinez

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation listed a final order for Romeo A. Martinez Monday, June 18.

The order is described as: "Respondent's apprentice electrician license was revoked by operation of law on August 2, 2011, and Respondent shall not apply for a new license before the first anniversary of the date of the revocation."

The basis for this order is the following:

"The Respondent's license was revoked upon Respondent's imprisonment in a penitentiary."
